A 4-Step Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin: Massage, Serum, Mask, Protect
Share
A glowing-skin routine does not need ten steps. Four well-chosen steps, done consistently, are easier to keep and easier to judge. Here is a simple four-step plan built around the Theraglam 4-Layer Skin Reset System, which brings four products into one routine.
What is in the 4-Layer Skin Reset System
- Step 1, Kansa Wand Ayurvedic Massager: a 100% bronze massage tool for face, body and feet.
- Step 2, Brightfix Vitamin C Serum: orange and lemon extracts, made for dullness, pigmentation and uneven tone.
- Step 3, HydraRenew Collagen Sleep Mask: hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed collagen, multi-peptides and aloe vera, used overnight.
- Step 4, Theraglow Glutathione Serum: glutathione with guava and papaya extracts for a brighter, more even look.
The morning routine
- Cleanse and pat dry.
- Brightfix Vitamin C Serum. A few drops, massaged in gentle circles.
- Moisturiser if needed.
- Sunscreen. Not in the kit, but essential for any glow routine.
The night routine
- Remove sunscreen and cleanse.
- Theraglow Glutathione Serum on slightly damp skin.
- Kansa Wand massage, 5 minutes. With the serum still slippery, or with a few drops of face oil, glide the bronze head from the centre of the face outward and from the jaw upward. Finish with downward strokes on the neck.
- HydraRenew Collagen Sleep Mask as the last step, on face and neck. Rinse in the morning.
A simple weekly plan
| Day | Morning | Night |
|---|---|---|
| Mon | Vitamin C, sunscreen | Glutathione, kansa massage, sleep mask |
| Tue | Vitamin C, sunscreen | Glutathione, kansa massage |
| Wed | Vitamin C, sunscreen | Glutathione, kansa massage, sleep mask |
| Thu | Vitamin C, sunscreen | Glutathione, kansa massage |
| Fri | Vitamin C, sunscreen | Glutathione, kansa massage, sleep mask |
| Sat | Vitamin C, sunscreen | Glutathione, kansa massage |
| Sun | Vitamin C, sunscreen | Rest night: cleanse and moisturise only |
Increase the sleep mask to more nights if your skin is dry and comfortable with it.
Starting slowly
If your skin is sensitive, start with the vitamin C serum and sunscreen in week one, add the glutathione serum and massage in week two, and the sleep mask in week three. Patch-test each product first.
Habits that make the glow last
- Sleep seven to nine hours.
- Drink water through the day.
- Move every day, even a 20-minute walk.
- Eat fruit and vegetables at every meal.
How long to give it
Use the routine for about four weeks before judging it. Take a daylight photo on day one and compare on day 28.
Common mistakes
- Skipping sunscreen. A glow routine without sun protection works against itself.
- Pressing hard with the wand. Light, slow strokes feel better and are kinder to skin.
- Starting all four steps on day one if your skin is sensitive.
- Judging it after a week. Give it the full four weeks.
Quick questions
Can I use both serums in the morning? You can, but splitting them keeps each routine shorter.
How do I clean the kansa wand? Wipe it with a soft cloth after each use and store it in its pouch.
