What Is a Glow Score? Understanding Your Glow Scan Report
Share
Every Theraglam Glow Scan report opens with a Glow Score: a single number from 0 to 100. This post explains what the score is for, how to read the rest of your report, and how to use both over the next 28 days.
A starting point, not a verdict
The Glow Score is a snapshot of where your skin and habits are today, based on your three photos (front, left and right) and your quiz answers. It is not a grade on your face, and it is not a medical assessment. Its job is to give you one simple number to come back to, so you can see whether the plan is working for you.
What else is in your report
Your illustrated PDF report arrives by email, usually within about 2 hours of your scan. Alongside the Glow Score, it includes:
- Ingredients that can help you, matched to what the scan sees.
- Your skincare routine for morning and night.
- Your face massage routine and face yoga routine, with step-by-step illustrations.
- Your diet and water plan.
- Your exercise plan.
- A 28-day tracker and to-do list you can print.
Your plan also stays in your Theraglam account, so you can open it on your phone. You sign in with your email and a one-time code.
How to read your report
- Start with the to-do list. It turns the whole report into a short list of actions.
- Set up your skincare routine with what you already own first. You do not need to buy everything at once.
- Pick one habit from the diet, water or exercise plan to start this week.
- Add face yoga or massage when the first habits feel easy.
- Print the 28-day tracker and tick each day.
Tracking your progress
Take your photos in the same place, light and time of day each time. Daylight from a window and a bare face give the most consistent results. Many people find it useful to scan again after completing a 28-day cycle to compare their Glow Score and see which habits made a difference.
Why a single number helps
Skin changes slowly, and day-to-day it is hard to notice progress in the mirror. Lighting, sleep and even the time of day change how your face looks. A score gives you a fixed reference point, so you can judge your routine on more than how you feel on one particular morning. Use it alongside your photos and your tracker, not instead of them.
Tips for a more accurate scan
- Remove makeup and wash your face first.
- Face a window; avoid harsh overhead light and flash.
- Tie hair back so your forehead and jawline are visible.
- Keep a neutral expression.
- Answer the quiz honestly. The plan is only as good as the answers.
