Glutathione Serum for Men: How to Add It to a Simple Routine

More men are moving beyond soap and water to a simple grooming routine. Once the basics are in place, many want to add one step that targets dullness or uneven-looking skin. A serum is an easy option because it is light and quick to apply. Here is how men can use a glutathione serum without overcomplicating things.

Start with the basics

Before adding any serum, make sure you have these covered:

  • Face wash morning and night.
  • Moisturiser.
  • Sunscreen every morning.

What is in Theraglow

The Theraglow Glutathione Serum is a 30ml serum with glutathione, guava, papaya, hyaluronic acid, glycerin and saxifraga. It is applied to damp skin. Read more in papaya and guava for skin and hyaluronic acid for skin.

How to use it

  1. Wash your face.
  2. Leave your skin slightly damp.
  3. Apply a few drops of serum to the face and neck.
  4. Massage in gently with fingertips.
  5. Follow with moisturiser.
  6. In the morning, finish with sunscreen.

When to use it

Many men find night easiest, after washing off the day. If you use it in the morning, sunscreen is a must. If you also use a vitamin C serum, see glutathione vs vitamin C serum.

Shaving and serums

  • Shave first, rinse and pat dry.
  • Wait a few minutes if skin feels sensitive after shaving.
  • Skip freshly nicked areas.

Beard area

If you have a beard, you can still apply serum to the cheeks, forehead and neck. Massage gently into the skin under shorter beards. See beard care routine.
